Richardson, Karen
Karen Richardson came to American Heritage School in 2008 with 14 years of experience teaching at Hillcrest Elementary (Alpine School District), 12 of which were in sixth grade, and the other two in fifth grade and computer lab instruction. In 2005, Miss Richardson left teaching to work as a business and office manager; however, she says that she soon realized how eager she was to return to teaching, and particularly to a school that emphasizes “love for the Lord and faith in His plan in each subject area” and “a methodology grounded in reasoning from eternal principles.” In observing her teaching demonstration in the classroom, it was clear to students and administrators alike that Miss Richardson is a natural educator who loves children and draws out their best in the classroom.
