Nicole was born and raised in Oregon. After high school, she studied accounting at Ricks College and BYU. She is the mother of five boys and three girls. When her children attended elementary school, she taught them Saxon math at home during their school math hour. She then tutored them during their junior high years. Nicole has been a teacher at American Heritage for more than a decade. She has taught music, math, and sixth grade language arts, and she has also tutored individual students. Nicole has directed stake and ward children's choirs. She loves to sing and plays the piano. Nicole assisted handicapped children for 10 years in the Alpine school bus system. She loves the mountains and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and camping. She also enjoys woodworking, carpentry, and building things.
